MINISTERIAL TOUR

MR. WILLIAMS IN MARLBOROUGH Press Association. BLENHEIM, Tuesday. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. K. S.. Williams, arrived at Blenheim last evening. After receiving deputations this morning he left for Upper Awatere Valley; with the object of traversing the proposed new stock route via the Archeron Valley from Hanmer to Christchurch. To-night will be spent at Molesworth Station and to-morrow morning the Minister and his party will depart on horseback into the Marlborough backcountry. They expect to reach Hanmer by nightfall, and will then proceed to Christchurch to join the Premier for a tour in Central Otago.
