The Onehunga Pigeon Club s first race from Poro-o-tarao (airline 115 miles) as won by Mr. A. Langton’s j b h Resolute, with a velocity of 1,462 j yards a minute Mr. F. Wilson’s r c Goshawk (1,444 yards) second; Mr. W. Leng’s b c c Bonny Doreen (1,416 ; yards) third.

The Hamilton Pigeon Club’s young i bird race from Ohakune, in which 40 ; birds competed, was won by Mr. C. j Glover’s The Orphan, with a velocity j of 1,440 yards a minute; Mr. H. Jury’s : Hippwell’s Lass (1,426.5 yards) second: Mr. E. Hopkins’s Xo. 273 (1,426.3 yards) third.
