SURPRISE PARTY

FOR BRIDE-ELECT A surprise party was given by the friends cf Miss Dorothy White at her home, 20 Wallace Street, Herne Bay, last week, when a number of useful kitchen utensils were presented to her, on her approaching marriage to Mr. Phillip Connolly. She also received a bouquet of clothes pegs and asparagus fern, which caused much amusement. Dancing and games -were indulged in, and a supper was supplied by the girls. Surprise packets were forthcoming which caused much fun, and not till midnight did the happy party break up.
