CHERNIAVSKY TRIO
BOX PLANS OPEN THURSDAY At His Majesty's Theatre on March 3, 6 and 8 the Cherniavsy Trio will appear for three concerts only under the direction of Messrs. J. and N. Tait. Musical critics throughout the world have considered * that the Cherniavskys, as trio players, are without equals, but the great feature of their work is that each one is a soloist of outstanding excellence. The programme arranged for their first concert will give scope to their unusual
versatility. The three brothers bear very little resemblance to one another, either in appearance or in personality. Leo is almost overwhelmingly vigorous and robust, Jan gives a suggestion of the spiritual, and Mischel is eager and earnest. The one great characteristic they have in common is a naive and dehghtful sense of humour which is the strongest element in their private life, which frequently creeps into their music. The box plan opens at Lewis .K. Eady’s on Thursday next.
