GENEROUS DONATIONS CRICKET AND RUGBY BENEFIT Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Mr. Eric Riddiford has donated £250 each to the Wellington Cricket Association and to the interests of Rugby in Wellington. The Cricket Association has earmarked the amount for the provision of an up-to-date score board at the Basin Reserve, of which Mr. Riddiford approves. It is understood that the Rugby donation goes to the fund for the erection of a new stand at Athletic Park.
