A CHEAP EXCURSION

WELLINGTON-AUCKLAND TRIP VISIT TO WAITOMO The railways excursion which is being run between Wellington and Auckland next week-end gives people of the capital a splendid opportunity of seeing the Northern city. The train will leave Wellington at 4.30 p.m. on Friday next, arriving at Auckland at 7.15 on the following morning. Excursionists will spend the day in Auckland and will leave by the return special at 8 o’clock on Sunday morning, the train stopping at Hangatiki to allow the passengers to visit the Waitomo Caves. It will resume the journey at 6 o’clock on the same evening, and will reach Wellington at 8 o’clock on Monday morning. The fares, which have been reduced to one-half ordinary rates, will be £3 os 4d first-class and £2 4s 7d secondclass.
