One of the strangest features of the Alcantara collision Is the cancellation of the Tovarisch’s S.O.S. by a second message to the effect that no help was now wanted. The entire crew of the Tovariseh is at present con Sued to the ship, sworn to secrecy by a representative of the Arcos Steamship Company.
