LOWER GRADE GAMES No senior Suburban cricket was played on Saturday, owing to the Domain having been booked for the jubilee sports of the Auckland Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. Results of lower grade matches were as follow: Second Grade Manurewa v. Takanini. —Manurewa: First inings, 66 (D. Peebles 36 not out, T. King 11, T. Young 7). Bowling for Takanini: Clayton, 5-32; H. Mclntosh, 2-1; Roberts, 1-7; T. Mclntosh, 2-19. Takanini: First innings, 80 (Clayton 16, E. Roberts 12, H. Mclntosh 15, T. Mclntosh 11, Sturgeon 9 not out). Bowling for Manurewa: Peebles, 3-27; Gray, 2-18; Gibbons, 5-16. Manurewa: Second innings, 99 (D. Peebles 45, B. Robinson 15, P. Robinson 4 not out). Bowling for Takanini: Clayton, 1-14; Rowe, 2-11; Lawless, 2-4; E. Roberts, 1-16; Cox, 1-18. Takanini won by 14 runs on the first innings. Otahuhu v. Edendale (friendly match). —Otahuhu: First innings, 115 (Marflitt 27, M. Williams 18, Pierce 15, Matson 15, Harwood 12). Bowling for Edendale: Fulton, 4-14; Brian, 1-6; Jones, 2-14. Edendale: First innings, 56 (Brian 14, Fulton 18, Ninkey 7). Bowling for Otahuhu: V. Williams, 5-24; Bright, 2-22; M. Williams, 2-6; French, 1-2. Otahuhu won by 59 runs on the first innings.
