DRUNK IN CHARGE OF CAR
LICENCE SUSPENDED Prats Association . ASHBURTON, To-day. , In the Police Court, Bernard Lewis Blackwell was fined £2 and costs for using obscene language, and £5 for being intoxicated in a car. His licence was suspended until the end of March, on condition that he took out a prohibition order. A charge of the theft of two cases of beer, the property of Mr. Moon, whom ! he drove in from Chertsey, was dismissed. On two other charges, involving breaches of the Licensing Act, he was remanded for a fortnight.
