STOLE RUG AND BLANKET 78 OTHER CONVICTIONS When Ernest Edward Cox, aged 45, had a rug and blanket in his possession yesterday, th e police became suspicious. Cox was charged at the Police Court to-day with drunkenness, breach of his prohibition order, and theft of the rug arid blanket. Senior-Sergeant Cummings said that accused was a sneak-thief, who spent his time stealing from boardinghouses. He had 78 previous convictions. He was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
