LUNA PARK

THRILLS AND LAUGHTER “Whoop!” Yes, we are on the Scenic Railway, and that is the big dip we have just passed. Fifty miles an hour, was it? Feels more like a hundred. That is only one of the thrills of Auckland’s Coney Island. For a reas-onably-priced and hilarious evening’s entertainment, a tour of the attract tions at Luna Park is hard to beat. Start with a thrill like the scenic railway or the whip, then rest the nerves with a peaceful trip through the caves at the back of the Old Mill- House, have a little dance in the pavilion—there is no entrance fee charged. When tired of dancing, there is a vaudeville entertainment in progress that is also free. The amusement is there, either at 7.30 in the evening or during tie afternoon session at 2.30 o’clock. Buses leave the Ferry Buildings at frequent intervals.
