BUTTER AND CHEESE EXPORTS TO DATE
Total exports of New Zealand butter for the 1927-28 season to the end of February, 1928, are estimated at 2,111,977 boxes, or an increase of 524,378 boxes in excess of that exported during the corresponding period of lasu year. Tne Home market has an active tone and prices have moved up 2s over the week, following a strong inquiry. Every indication points to steady trading on the London market over the next week or so. The following summary of shipments made during the season up to the end of February with the destination and the corresponding figures for last year makes interesting reading:—■ Dairy produce shipments from August 1, 1927, to the end of February, 1928, and the same period for this season, 1926-27, are as follow: Butter (boxes).
