NEW ROLLING STOCK
WORK FOR NEW SHOPS The railway rolling stock at Auckland will be severely taxed during the coming week-end by special excursions, races at Te Aroha, and the transportation of territorials to and from the military camp at Hopu Hopu. The rolling stock is sufficient to meet the requirements of the Auckland yard at present, but when the new shops at Otahuhu are completed, a comprehensive programme of car and wagon construction will be undertaken, and many of the old types replaced
