After several Keen, close games in the section ties, the finalists for the Rotorua Bowling Club's tourney were found yesterday, and the deciding match is being played to-day between J. Xash, Boon, Wight and Fraser (Palmerston North) and Crawford, Neilson, Platt and Crawford (Kareri). In the play-offs yesterday. Fraser (Palmerston North) beat Ferkins (Island Bay) by 23 to 16 in the B section. In the C section, II heads were played between Crawford (Karori), Beynon (Petone), Gordon (Masterton) and Russell (Newtown). Crawford beat Beynon, 13 —6. and Gordon beat Russell, 15 —10. In the section final, Crawfoi-d beat Gordon by 13 to 8. In the semi-final between Crawford (Karori) and Frost (Frankton), the Wellington rink won a keen game by 24 —19 after a great uphill fight. On the fifth head the score was 10—1 ;n Frankton’s favour, but Crawford's rink gradually wore the opposition down.
