BRADBURN—WELLS
; A bow of crisply-ari'anged white i tulle lent an airy touch of daintiness to the bridal gown of white taffetas, | worn by Miro Sutton, the youngest | daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Wells, of ! Victoria Avenue, Waiuku, when she was married by the Rev. J. C. Fussell, of Waiuku, to Claude Ernest, die eldest son of Mr. and Mrsfl E. Bradburn, of Hinemoa Road, Grey Lynn. The wedding took place yesterday -morning at All Saints’ Church, Ponsonby, and Dr. Phillips presided at the organ during the service, which was fully choral. The bride’s pretty frock was finished with a deeply petalled uneven hem, and trails of silk roses and orange blossoms gave it dainty trimming. Her veil was of exquisite Honiton lace and was held in place with a chaplet of orange blossoms. The fragrant wedding flowers appeared again in one corner of the veil to form a beautiful floral motif. A simple sheaf of Madonna lilies completed the bride’s toilette. Miss Joyce Rradburn, wearing an attractive frock of peaclibloom taffetas, acted as bridesmaid, and to complement her dainty gown she wore a head-dress of tulle with a bouffant bow at one side, and carried a shower bouquet of blue and rose-coloured flowers. The little Misses Gloria and Marion Sinel acted as flower girls, 'and wore picturesque period frocks of shot opal blue taffetas. Each wore a headdress of tulle and one carried a demure little Victorian primrose posy, and th i other a basket of pretty flowers. A diminutive page also attended the bride, in the person of Master Jack Quilter, and he was primly dignified in a simple suit of white satin. The bride was given away by her father and the bridegroom was attended by Mr. B. McHardy as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Point Erin Kiosk, where the bride’s mother, wearing a smart gown of Naples blue crepe de chine and a hat to tone, received the guests. Mrs. Bradburn, mother of the bridegroom, wore a becoming frock of flower patterned crepe de chine with a matching hat. Mrs. S. L. Dryland, sister of the bride, was wearing a tailleur of cameo rose crepe alonza and a hat of pale champagne tone. When the bride and groom left later for a wedding tour, the former wore a chic tailored suit of French sedan cloth with a hat to match, and a handsome Mongolian fox fur.
