The two sisters of Patrick Fitzlerald, the night watchman who was •hot dead on Saturday, have compunieatecl with the police offering to Pay their brother’s funeral expenses. The deceased was night watchman ui the Perfection Knitting Mills at Carlton. Apparently he discovered » burglar on the premises who, finding himself trapped, shot Fitzgerald through the heart before he had time f 0 defend himself, and then escaped Some employees who were just saving heard a cry, and remembering that burglars had entered the Place a week before, went to the back ™ the building and found Fitzgerald aead.
