AMERICAN TRAFFIC LAWS
CUTTING OUT SPEED TRAPS
ACCESSORIES NECESSARY Windshield-wipers and mirrors giving the drivers a rear view must be fitted to all cars licensed in Washington (U.S.A.). A new traffic law just passed in that State thus converts the accessories of yesterday into the essentials of to-day. The same law provides that no evidence based on the use of a speed tran will be admitted at any court trial: forbids cut-outs and disconnected mufflers, and the use of sirens except by fire trucks and ambulances.
