The vessel is bringing a cargo of p >!os from Grafton for discharge at Auckland. t,i>borne and Waikokopu. Messrs W atkm and Wallis are the local agents. ALL WELL ON TAINUI. —The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company ha\ e received a wireless message from their liner Tainui, which left Wellington on Februarv 15 for Southampton and London, as follows; ‘ Experiencing good weather. All well on board.” MAI MOA FOR AUSTRALIA. —Cabled news has been received by the shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Maimoa left London on Thursday with general cargo to discharge at Australian ports. She will afterwards come to New Zealand to load in May for Home. KAIWARRA FROM NEWCASTLE. The Union Company’s collier Kaiwarra arrived at Auckland this morning from Newcastle, and berthed at the Western Wharf to discharge her cargo of coal. The Kaiwarra sailed from the coal port last Wednesday and experienced good weather for the run across the Tasman Sea. Owing to the slackness in the coal trade the Kaiwarra pays off at Auckland.

MAH AN A TO LOAD.—The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company reports that the Mahana is due at Gisborne on February 29 from Ifewcastle to commence loading for London. She will load also at Napier and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on March 8, and wll sail finally from there on March 17 for London, via Panama.

PORT BOWEN SAlLlNG.—Heather, Roberton and Company advises that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Bowen should leave Auckland this evening for Opua, thence Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, New Plymouth, and back to Auckland to complete her loading. She returns here on March 2, and is scheduled to sail finally from this port on March 6 for London and West of England ports, via Panama.

MATAROA’S PROGRAMME. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa is to leave Wellington to-morrow for Auckland to complete unloading general merchandise from London to the agency of A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd. After completion of discharge the vessel will load at Auckland, Picton, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is to be dispatched from Wellington for Southampton and London, via Panama, at daybreak on March 17.

ASHBURTON AT SUVA. —The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company have been advised that the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Ashburton arrived at Suva last Thursday from New York, but owing to the heavy weather seriously delaying her discharge, it is doubtful if she can be dispatched before noon to-morrow for Auckland* where she is now due on Sunday next The Ashburton is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australian ports.

PAKEHA TO LOAD.*—A. S. Paterson and Company have been advised that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha is scheduled to reach Auckland on March 26 from Australia to commence loading for Auckland. From this port the vessel proceeds to Opua, thence Wellington, Timaru, Port Chalmers and Bluff to complete, and is scheduled to sail finally from the latter port on April 18 for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffe.

HERMINIUS’S ITINERARY.—Due at Auckland about Tuesday next from Antwerp, with slag for discharge at this port, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Herminius will, after discharge here, commence loading - at Auckland, and later proceeds to Gisborne, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington and Port Chalmers to complete loading. The Herminius is scheduled to clear the Otago port on April 1 for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool, via Panama. L. D. Nathan and Company will act as the local agents.

TOFU A RETURNS.—An arrival in port yesterday afternoon was the Union Company’s Island steamer Tofua, Captain Duncan McDonald, from Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. The vessel berthed at the Queen’s ‘Wharf to land her cargo, mails and passengers. Except for the return trip from Fiji to Auckland, when she encountered strong south-east winds and rough seas, the Tofua had a pleasant voyage round the Islands. The Tofua leaves Auckland at 11 a.m on Saturday on her return trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.

ULIMAROA ARRIVES. —An arrival at Auckland this morning was the HuddartParker and Company’s passenger steamer Ulimaroa from Sydney, and after pratique was granted the vessel berthed at the Queen’s Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. The vessel left the New South Wales port at noon last Friday and experienced a good weather passage across the Tasman Sea. The following passengers arrived by the Ulimaroa:—
