COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea leaves Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Gisboi'ne and Napier, and returns here next Sunday. The Kaimanawa sailed from Wellington a.t 9 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday morning. After discharge here, the vessel loads at Auckland and sails on Saturday for Wellington and Westport. The Kamona is now sailing from Auck-

land at 11 o’clock this evening for Lyttelton direct, thence Dunedin. The Katoa is fixed to load at Lyttelton on Friday for Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The Wingatui from Dunedin was to leave Timaru last evening for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland and is expected here about Monday next. The Kaponga from West Coast ports leaves Napier at 10 o’clock this evening for Auckland and should arrive here on Thursday mornirg. The Kaitangata is to load at Greymouth on Thursday and completes at Westport for Auckland. She is due here .early next week. The Kaituna was to leave Greymouth yesterday for Picton, where she fills up for Auckland. She is expected here about Sunday. The Kurow from Port Craig should leave Bluff to-day via Dunedin, Oamaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Kaiapoi has been fixed to load coal at Greymouth on Saturday for Auckland, and should arrive here early next week. The Westport Coal Company’s collier Canopus should leave Auckland this evening on her return trip to Westport. The Gunbar from the East Coast via Orakei is due at Auckland early this afternoon and will berth at the King’s Wharf. To-morrow at 1 p.m. she leaves Auckland on her return, trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Awahou returned to Auckland this morning from Portland and sails at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Hicks Bay, Tokoftiaru Bay and Gisborne. The Matatua should clear Timaru tomorrow for Lyttelton, where she puts out the remainder of her London cargo. The Waiuku sailed for Surfdale, Ostend, and Oraiha this morning at 9.30 and will be back again at 6 o'clock to-night. The Claymore sails for Whangarei tonight at S o’clock; she is expected back again on Thursday morning at 8 o’clock. The Otimai sailed for Hutarere and Opotiki at noon to-day. The Taniwha sails for Paeroa at 11.30 to-night and is due back again on Thursday morning at 5 o'clock. The Toa sails for Whakatane this afternoon at 4 o’clock. The Omana sails for Waiwera, Mahurangi, and Warkworth at 1 p.m., and is due back again to-morrow night at 12.30. The Waiuku sails for Waiheke tomorrow morning at 9.30, and is due back again at 6 o’clock in the evening. The Rangitoto is due back from Thames at 11.30 a.m. this morning and will sail to-morrow at half past two in the afternoon. The Hauiti is due back from Coromandel at 1 p.m. to-day and will sail again to-morrow afternoon for Kopu and Turua, at 1.30. The Kawau is due back at 1 p.m. today from Kawau, Mullet Point, and Matakana, she will sail again to-morrow morning at 11 o’clock. The Tiroa sails at noon to-day for Hicks Baz", and Gisborne. The Elsie Mary sails this afternoon for Gisborne. The Coronation sailed from Awanui this morning. She will load here on Friday and sail again on Saturday afternoon. The Wonganella leaves here to-night for Wanganui, where she completes her discharge of Nauru Island phosphates. Afterwards she proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence Hobart for orders.
