COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea, which arrived at Auckland yesterday from the East Coast, sails at 4 p.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Kamona reached here this morning from Southern ports and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. To-morrow evening she sails from Auckland for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Kaituna, which has been barbound

at Greymouth, was expected to leave the coal port this morning for Picton and Auckland. The Wingatui sailed from Dunedin at 5 p.m. on Saturday and leaves Timaru at 8 o’clock this evening for. Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. She is due at this port next Saturday. _ The Kaponga arrived at Napier at i o’clock this morning from Westport and. leaves to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday morning. The Kurow leaves Port Craig to-mor-row and Bluff on Wednesday, via Dunedin, Oamaru, Lyttelton and Wellington for Auckland. The Kurow should arrive at Auckland about Wednesday week. The Kaitangata is to load at Greymouth on Wednesday and completes at Westport for Auckland, and should arrive here about Sunday next. The Kaimanawa, from Westport, leaves Wellington at midnight for Pictori, where she completes loading for Auckland. The Kaiapoi has been fixed to load at Greymouth next Saturday for Auckland, and is expected here early next week. The Westport Coal Company’s steamer Canopus arrived at Auckland yesterday from Westport and berthed at the King’s Wharf. She leaves here to-morrow on her return trip to Westport. The Gunbar is expected to arrive at Auckland on Wednesday from the East Coast and should sail the following day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The steamer Mako, which left Auckland on Saturday evening for East Coast ports, developed engine-room trouble and returned to port four hours later. She is at present berthed at the Western Wharf undergoing repairs. The Awahou returns to Auckland tomorrow morning from Portland to complete her loading and sails the same evening for East Coast bays, Napier, Wairoa and Waikokopu. The Dewey arrived at Timaru this morning from Wellington and sails on Thursday for Dunedin to put out the remainder of her Pacific Coast cargo. The Mataroa leaves Wellington on Wednesday for Auckland, where she is due next Friday to complete her discharge and to commence loading for her return trip. The Hauiti sails for Coromandel and Colville at 1 o’clock this afternoon and will be back again to-morrow afternoon at 1 o’clock. The Waipu sailed for Kerepeehi at noon to-day and is due back on Wed-

nesday morning at 2 o’clock. The Clansman sails for Russell, Opua, Whangaroa and Mangonui at 5 o’clock to-night and is expected back again on Thursday morning at 7 o’clock. The Matangi sails for Tauranga at half past eight to-night and will be back again on Wednesday morning at 7 o’clock. The Rangitoto sails for Thames at 2 o’clock this afternoon. She will be back again to-morrow morning at 11.30. The Waiuku sailed for Waiheke at 9.30 this morning and will be back again tonight at 6 o’clock. The Pono sails for Mercury Bay and Tairua this afternoon at 4 o’clock. The Kawau sails for Kawau, Mullet Point and Matakana at noon to-day, and will be back again to-morrow at 1 p.m. The Waiuku sails at half past nine tomorrow morning for Surf dale, Ostend and Omiha. She will be back again in the evening at 6 o’clock.
