CABINET MINISTERS
SOUTHERN MOVEMENTS Several Cabinet Ministers have been moving quietly about the South Island and southern portion of the North Island, visiting electorate and performing various public functions. The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. J. G. Coates, and Minister of Lands, the Hon. A. D. McLeod, have been spending a few days in the Wairarapa district, and are now back in Wellington.
The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. O. J. Hawken, has been touring the northern portion of the South Island, but is now back at Parliament Buildings. The Postmaster-General and Minister of External Affairs, the Hon. W. Nosworthy, has been further South to his own electorate, and returned to Wellington late this week. The Minister of Health, the Hon. J. A. Young, is away from Wellington in the Auckland Province. He conferred with the hospital authorities at Palmerston North yesterday, and is due at Hamilton to-day to open the new gates to the Gordonton Park. The, Minister will return to Wellington on Monday.
