BIG PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT “Good as Gold,” starring Buck Jones is now being screened at the Edendale Cinema. The story itself is a fast moving, absorbing life history of a boy whose father’s rich mine was stolen by claim jumpers and the father killed. The part of the boy is played in the early sequences by Micky Moore, a youngster of about nine of ten. In the later sequences it is Buck Jones who plays the wronged man. And he manages to collect the dividends on the mine which is his by every right, with a pair of six shooters. He does this until he discovers that the original claim jumper and thief has died and that an innocent girl, a niece of the thief, inherits the mine. Then, of course, things become very complicated and humour as much as pathos and suspense carry forward the absorbing story of the picture. “Soft Cushions,” with Douglas MacLean in the leading role is also being shown, „
