LUNA PARK

CONEY ISLAND ENTERTAINMENT The most airy theatre cannot be as fresh as the open air of Luna Park, where exercise, excitement and entertainment combine to amuse great crowds every night. To-day there are special sessions beginning at 2 o’clock' and at 7.30 hundreds will follow the music to the palace of glittering lights, where young and old may forget trials and tribulations in innocent joy. Dancing will be free at the Palais. The score or so of arrangements and joy machines work up to the climax of the scenic railway, which carries with it the biggest “kick” to be met with South of the Line. “Dodge ’Ems.” “The Whip.” “River Caves,” and "Haunted House” are a few of the attractions.

Anne Nichols, the author of the famous stage success, “Abie’s Irish Rose,” will title the picture version, which is being produced by Paramount. “Abie's Irish Rose” is one of Paramount’s 1928 programmes and will be released in New Zealand this year.
