EVERYBODY’S

“THREE MILES UP” “The Prince of Pilsen,” a new comedy which is being presented at Everybody’s Theatre, is an example of the unusual in modern film production, and qualifies splendidly as a distinct screen novelty. It is a lavish farcical production dealing with, court life in a mythical European kingdom, and the comedy element is ever present and relishable.

George Sidney, featured as Hans Wagner, a Cincinnati brewer, who, on going to his old home in Pilsen. is mistaken for the Prince of Pilsen himself. is the chief comedian and reveals himself as a thorough artist. Anita Stewart, who plays the part of his daughter Nellie, is seen in a role which provides full scope for her mimetic ability, and of which she makes the most.

The chief supporting roles are portraved by Myrtle Stedman and Allan Forrest, both of whom add immeasurably to the strength of the cast and the enjoyable qualities of the picture. War. which sometimes brings out the best in bad men and the worst in good ones, has been used as a background for A 1 Wilson’s latest starring vehicle, “Three Miles Up,” which is also being shown at Everybody’s this week. A pre-war crook returns as “ace of his regiment. His desire to rid himself of old associates, and lead an honest life brings him into adventures more daring and dangerous than those of war times. Ethlyne Clair plays the leading feminine role opposite Wilson.
