SITE NOT TO BE CHANGED STONE TO BE LAID ANZAC DAY Frees Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The Wellington War Memorial Executive has resolved to adhere to the site in front of the Parliamentary grounds for the Wellington memorial. It rejected Mr. Hurst SegarV proposal to change the site to near the Basin Reserve. Mr. Segar pointed out that the memorial would block the best view of the Parliamentary grounds and buildings, while the Reserve site would be a commodious one. Tenders will be call«*I this month, and the foundation-stone will be laid on Anzac Day.
