TEAPOT DOME SCANDAL By Association. — Copyright. WASHINGTON, Tuesday. The chairman of the Teapot Dome Committee of the Senate, Mr. G. P. Nye (Republican) alleged to-day that Harry Blackmer, the oil man who fled to Europe to escape giving evidence about the Teapot Dome scandal, gave £I,OOO toward Mr. Coolidge’s campaign fund In 1924. The investigators who had Inspected the list of campaign contributions filed in the House of Representatives, had ascertained that Blackmer sent this sum from his hiding place in Europe. —A. and N.Z.
