MONSTERS AT WHANGAROA RECENT CATCHES (From Our Own Correspondent) WHANGAROA, To-day. Deep-sea fishing is being continued in favourable weather. Mr. H. WhiteWickham landed four mako sharks, weighing 2391 b.. 1901 b., 1071 b. and 1031 b. respectively. Mr. Stanley Ellis, of Hamilton, landed a huge mako of 5121 b., which put up a most spectacular fight for over two hours. He also got another mako weighing 1221 b.
