The production of artificial silk in Englajid last year amounted to £38,('00,000, a new record by £13,000,000. Despite the huge demand, English producers are supplying 90 per cent, of the home requirements and are exporting an increasingly large amount. The flotation of several new companies is pending.—Sun.
