The death of Mr. James Drummond, late headmaster of the Auckland Grammar School, was referred to with regret by the chairman of the Auckland Education Board, Mr. A. Burns, to-day. The board passed a motion of sympathy with Mr. Drummond’s relatives. Mr. W. G. K. Wright, who has been appointed the official delegate of the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers' Association to the World Dairy Congress, is to leave for England early in March, and will also investigate dairying conditions in the chief dairying centres of Europe.
