ARBITRATION CONFERENCE

LABOUR DELEGATES RETURN The delegates who represented Auckland Labour interests at the conference of trade unions at Wellington last week on the proposed amendments to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, returned to Auckland at the week-end. They came to the conclusion that the big agenda could only be discussed after mature consideration, and 25 delegates were selected to prepare the case for the t mployees and be ready to meet the Parliamentary committee and employers on March 27.
