HUNTLY-WAAHI SPORTS
RECORD CROWD ATTENDS (From Our Oxen Correspondent) HUNTLY, Monday. The annual fixture of the Waahi Sports Club took place on Saturday last at Huntly West and proved as popular as in preceding: years. The attendance was a record and competition keen. Proceedings were enlivened by the Huntly Silver Band, which rendered choice selections during the afternoon. Mr. David Brown, secretary, and a strong committee had matters running smoothly throughout, and are to be congratulated on the arrangements made.
