AGED SKYLARKERS

PUGNACIOUS OLD MEN VETERANS FIGHT IN BROADWAY The rejuvenating influence of yesterday’s sunshine resulted in two old men making an appearance at the Police Court to-day. They were Daniel Noonan, aged 6f and William Wright, aged 77. Diffidently they admitted fighting in Broadway yesterday afternoon. Senior-Sergeant Cummings said they were both inmates of an institution for old men. “It was just a bit of skylarking,” explained Noonan. “We’ve known each other for years, and there is no animosity between us.” Both accused were admonished and discharged. Noonan was also charged with being in possession of betting charts. He was further admonished for this offence.
