Following are the results: Women’s Championship.—Mrs. Rhodes Williams (Wellington) defeated Mrs. Gambrill ’(Palmerston North), 26—24; Mrs. Smith (Te Kuiti) defeated Mrs. Meckle, 26—18; Miss Hesketh (Auckland) defeated Mrs. Coutts, 26 —18; Miss Hesketh defeated Mrs. Schnauer (Auckland), 26 —18; Mrs. Tiffen (Hastings) defeated Mrs. Smith, 26—10; Mrs. Petrie defeated Mrs. Horne, 26—4; Mrs. Bartlett defeated Mrs. Wickens, 26—24. Open Championship, Semi-final.—Miss Steel (England) defeated Mr. Stratton (Hastings), 26—1 C, 26—10. Miss Steel and Colonel Du Pre (England) will play off in the final. The uncompleted test matches were continued and resulted as follows:—Col onel Du Pre and Miss Steel (England) defeated A. G. F. Ross (Christchurch) and Caughley (.Wellington), 26—16.
