NEW TRADES HALL
HOME OF WELLINGTON UNIONS Press Association* WELLINGTON, To-day. The Leader of the Labour Party, Mr. H. E. Holland, has laid the foundation stone of the new Wellington Trades Hall in Vivian Street. It will be a three-storeyed steel structure to house all the untons. About half of it will be completed at present, including a hall to seat 500. The total cost will be £50,000. Mr. Holland delivered an address on 1-abour, claiming that the party had never been beaten by its opponents, but by the working men and women, who ▼©ted against their own interests.
