POLICE PARADE

COMMISSIONER INSPECTS TRIP NORTH NEXT WEEK The Commissioner of Police, Mr. W. B. Mcllveney, inspected a parade of the Auckland force this morning, and addressed the men at the Central Police Station. The commissioner leaves Auckland on Monday for the North, and after visiting various stations in the Whangarei and other Northern districts, will return to this city about the end of next week. He then will leave on his return to headquarters at Wellington. Inspector Hollis probably will accompany the commissioner North.
