WILL JUDGE PASS DEATH SENTENCE?

By Cable. —Press Association.— Copyright. LOS ANGELES, Friday. At the trial of the youth Hickman on charges of murdering the 12-year-old schoolgirl Marion Parker, and a chemist, the jury returned a verdict to the effect that accused was sane at the time of the kidnapping of the girl and of the murder. The Judge will pass sentence on Saturday. He has already intimated that he would sentence the youth to death if he was held to be sane.—A. and N.Z.
