SUCCESS ASSURED

A glance through the acceptances for the Otahuhu Trotting Club's summer fixture, which opens next Saturday at Alexandra Park, will convince the most sceptical and pessimistic advocate of the sport that the success of the carnival is assured. Good fields will face the starter and the quality of the contestants right through is excellent. Many of the Dominion's highest grade pacers and trotters are included in the list and the conflict between several champions of each section in the more classy events will be worth a long pilgrimage to witness. The club is to be congratulated on the fine response which has attended its progressive enterprise.
