DIRECTED BY R. JULIAN Rupert Julian, director of “The Country Doctor,” hailed as the greatest rural classic since “Way Down East,” and the “Leopard Lady,” which was just completed, has been assigned to handle the megaphone on “Walking Back” at the De Mille Studio for Metropolitan Pictures. Under long term contracts to the De Mille organisation Julian has filmed such productions as “Three Faces East,” “Silence” and “The Yankee Clipper.” Prior to this he directed “Th© Merry Go-Round,” “The Phantom of the Opera” and many other prominent screen stories. Vera Reynolds is the star of “Walking Back,” which was adapted by Douglas Doty from the “Liberty” Magazine serial, “A Ride in 1 the Country,” by George Kibbe Turner.
