EDENDALE
“THE CIRCUS ACE” All the fun and excitement of a circus and all the drama and thrills of a rodeo are to be had at the Edendale Theatre, where Fox Films “The Circus Ace” is being shown. This is Tom Mix’s latest starring picture and it proved a real treat to • the audience who witnessed the first screening. Both Tom and his horse Tony are at their best in this story of a ranchman who, looking up into the sky, sees a parachute drifting downwards toward him with a beautiful girl clinging to the trapeze. What follows is action woven into a story of dramatic interest that is jammed with suspense, thrills and considerable fun. ‘.‘Ritzy,V Betty Bronson’s new Paramount starring picture, is also on the programme. In it Betty steps from under the guiding influence of “Peter Pan,” and places herself in the hands of Madame Elinor Glyn, but it is not the Glyn of “Six Days” or “Love’s Blindness.” . It is opce more the Glyn of # Clara Bow’s “IT,” the Glyn who showed herself a master of light comedy in that entertaining film.
