“THE MISSING LINK” Again proving his great versatility, Syd Chaplin plays three characters in one, in his present starring vehicle, “The Missing Link,” which Charles F. Reisner directed for Warner Bros. Syd plays a London derelict, who in turn plays the part of a lord, who in turn plays the part of a Scotchman. This triple characterisation was the cause of many outbursts of laughter during the making of the film, for it was a very difficult thing for Syd to remember which character* he was playing. Chaplin is supported in this uproarious farce by Ruth Hiatt, Tom McGuire* Crauford Kent, Sam Baker and many others. “The Missing Link,” the supreme laughing thriller of the year, will be shown for a few more days at the Grand Theatre.
