WAIHI GUN CLUB
OPENING SHOOT ON FEBRUARY 18 Ths annual meeting of the Waihi Gun Club was held in the Drill Hall on Thursday night, Mr. J. Cooper presiding. The balance sheet was read and showed a credit balance of £2l 6s. The following officers were elected for the year. Patrcn, the Mayor, Mr. W. M. Wallnutt, president; Mr. J. Gilwo'ir; vice-presider ts. Mr. Elleringt®R, Mr. Carter, Mr. Weedon, Mr. Reid, Mr. Moorhead, Mr. Emmett, Mr. Milchairman, Mr. J. Cooper, secretary treasurer, Mr. E. King; auditor, A-- Sparks; committee, Messrs. ®P*r*old, Cooper, Lynch, Spark, Hope, Minn, Naylor, Weeks. Referees and handicappers, Messrs. Sparks and Weeks. It was -decided to hold the opening shoot on Saturday, February 18, for a dub tgophy. The committee was also ’“Wbowered to make arrangements for a handicap shoot with the Thames Gun Club.
