KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR
INJURIES PROVE FATAL KARANGAHAPE ROAD ACCIDENT Mr. Robert Prendergast, aged 74. of 45 Pine Street, Mount Eden, who was knocked down by a motor-car in Karangahape Road yesterday, died in the Auckland Hospital last evening. The accident occurred outside the shop of Messrs. Wade and Company. Ltd., at about 12.30. Mr. Prendergast received severe injuries, and was taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance. The motor-car was driven by Dr. T. Endletsberger.
