MOTOR-CAR DAMAGED AUCKLAND MERCHANT’S ESCAPE (From Our Own Correspondent) TAURANGA, To-day. Mr. John Hardley had the misfortune to meet with a car accident to-day. A CCOMPAMED by his wife and two daughters, he was motoring from Rotorua to Tauranga, and when about eight miles from here the car skidded and hit a bank. None of the passengers was seriously hurt. Mrs. Hardley had cuts on the face and bruises on an arm and a leg. One daughter was bruised on the face. The others escaped without any injury. The car was considerably damaged.
