Goods waggons of a road tramway broke loose near Thionville, and violently collided with a passenger tram at a level crossing. Twelve people were killed and 34 injured. The driver allegedly decamped.—A. and N.Z. Thionville (German, Diedenhofen) is a fortified town in Lorraine, on the Moselle, 17 miles north of Metz.
