INQUIRY HELD FATAL BOAT CAPSIZE Lute lust year William Williams and Albert Thomas Bowman were drowned when their boat capsized in Rangitoto Channel. Yesterday, an inquiry ordered by the Superintendent of Marine, was held by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Stanley John Eastdown, survivor of the fatality, said that the boat was drifting toward Tiri Tiri, and when Williams changed the course, the boat filled with water, and the three of them decided to swim for Rangitoto. Witness did not see the other two men again. The verdict was that Williams and Bowman were drowned after the accidental capsize of their boat.
