CANADIAN MINISTER FOR EDENDALE CHURCH
INDUCTION CEREMONY The Reo. W. Gilmour, who has accepted the charge of the Edendale Presbyterian Church, has , since his arrival from Canada, been “ supplying ” at Roxburgh, Otago Central. His induction to Edendale will take place to-night. The principal speakers of the occasion will be the Rav F. B. Barton, Moderator of the Auckland Presbyterian Assembly, who will address the congregation, and the Rev. L. H. Hunt, interim moderator of the charge, who will address the minister. The Rev. Matthew Miller will deliver the sermon. Mr. Gilmour, Edendale’s new ministep, was trained under the Irish Presbyterian Church, saw service in the Great War, and later worked in Canada, where he was in charge of a large city church in Vancouver.
