The tour is of particular interest to Auckland by reason of the fact that the home province is strongly represented, and the touring party will be led by Mr. J. W. Hardley; the wellknown Auckland bowler and immediate past-president of the New Zealand Bowling Association.

Bowlers throughout the province will join in wishing the tourists bon voyage, a successful tour, and a safe return.

When the tourists assemble in Wellington to-morrow, a civic farewell will be given at the Wellington Town Hall in the morning, at which the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. G. A. Troup, and his councillors will say au revoir to the party which will constitute New Zealand’s pioneer venture into international bowling in the Old World.

The touring, party will consist of 37 players and three non-players. Nearly half of the team will be accompanied hy their wives and other members of their family.
