RIBBON OF CONCRETE

GREAT SOUTH ROAD OTAHUHU TO PAPAKURA The work of concreting*the northern approach of eight and a-half chains to the Wiri Bridge on the Great South Road has been completed for half the width of the road, and is at present “under the bags.” It will be opened for traffic, as soon as possible, and the balance of the road will then be completed. When this is linked up, the whole of the Manukau County area of the Great South Road between Otahuhu and Papakura will be concreted.
