Heavy consignments of fruit are arriving by rail from Central Otago During the nine days from January 26 the cases handled at the Dunedin station totalled 33,025. Most of the fruit is railed from Dunedin to Christchurch and the North Island. LINSEED MARKET The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, dated February 2, from Landale and Clark, Ltd., Calcutta, with reference to the linseed market: “We quote £l6 7s 6d for linseed a ton net, c. and {., Sydnev, for immediate shipment. Market quiet.”
