DANGEROUS PRACTICE

INFLATED TUBES IN BATHS WANGANUI, To-day. An inquest, held this morning, on a bov who could not swim and who was using an inflated motor tube in the Corporation Baths at the time he was drowned, both the custodian of the baths and the coroner commented upon the use of inflated tyres and wings as being dangerous. It was stated that it only encouraged those who could not swim to take risks and get into deep water.
